However, do some people enjoy carrying out domestic activities. What about DIY?
Is free time really free? Or do social and economic forces package it as « leisure time » and offer you a host of (paid for) activities. If you have a free weekend, what sort of things might you do? How is this presented to you? Why do you feel it is leisure?
3. Why do MEDC governments like to promote « Leisure Time » amongst their populations? In less than 50 words, write down why you think governments try to promote the leisure industry?
Surely, a person not at work is not productive??
4. Recreation Time A leisure time activity undertaken voluntarily and for enjoyment. It includes individual persuits, organised outings and events, and non paid (non professional) sports.
When do people tend to enjoy recreation time?
