3. Five Year Plan (4 Goal Areas) Eliminating Exposure to Environmental Tobacco Smoke
Preventing the Initiation of Tobacco Youth
Access to Cessation Resources for Adults and Youth
Development of Infrastructure for Tobacco Use Prevention
4. Goal One: Eliminating Exposure to Environmental Tobacco Smoke
Reduce the proportion of non-smokers exposed to environmental tobacco smoke.
Reduce the proportion of adults reporting exposure to environmental tobacco smoke in the workplace.
5. Goal Two: Preventing the Initiation of Tobacco by Youth Reduce Youth Initiation of tobacco use.
Reduce youth smoking prevalence
6. Goal Three: Access to Cessation Resources for Adults and Youth Increase smoking cessation attempts by adult and youth smokers.
Increase Smokeless Tobacco Cessation attempts amongst youth.
7. Goal Four: Development of an Infrastructure for Tobacco Use Prevention Reevaluate and rebuild the infrastructure for tobacco use prevention and control and the level of stakeholder commitment necessary to implement a new 5-year plan.

9. Tobacco Control Network Network was formed with numerous organization with interest in tobacco.
A Board, By-laws, regularly scheduled meetings, policies, and procedures, were established.
10. Purpose of Network Coordinate lines of communication with all partners;
Assess, create and identify new and existing partners;
Create an umbrella entity for the partner network;
Need to leverage relationships to build partnerships
11. Continue to Develop Activities and Strategies To: Continual the reduction of tobacco use amongst high school and middle schools students;
Decrease the number of adults and youth exposed to second-hand smoke;
Increase smoking cessation attempts by adults and youth smokers;
Continue to make the Tobacco Control Network Strong amongst all those interested in tobacco prevention
