  5. CBRN Response capability Within 2 hrs on the scene Advisory & Assessment Team (2 persons) Detection & Identification Team (4 persons) Under Joint CBRN School one central capability co use as instructors / trainers

  6. CBRN decon capability Within 6 hrs on the scene Decontamination of: Persons Vehicles Infrastructure In the 2 CBRN Coys Also used for CRO

  7. CBRN Training Facility Multidisciplinary use Under the Joint CBRN School Start small and grow if needed Also a mobile training capability

Joint CBRN School (JCBRNS) Last 3 years: CBRN (Awareness) courses for all civil first responders and agencies 4 civil liaisons working in JCBRNS: Police Fire Department Ambulance services NFI & RIVM (forensic & environment institutes) Developing multidisciplinary education, training and exercises.

Active information sharing Military Joint CBRN Centre of Expertise with Ministries, public agencies and institutes Multidisciplinary Advisory Group(chair: MinBZK) aim: information sharing & cooperation Taskforce CBRNe Respons(chair: MinBZK) Steering Group CBRNe(chair: NCTb) Advice to Ministers

Start developing roadmap CenTrEx CBRNe 2011: Protocol for multidisciplinary response under CBRNe circumstances Operational try-out of CenTrEx CBRNe Start multidisciplinary education & training programs Multi Respons CBRNe

The Dutch experience need political commitment start small and cautious (sensitivities) different language / definitions different procedures adapt military to civil procedures / material military supplementary to civil capabilities military ≠ first responders NOW, but in future (if the expertise is needed) will be!
