These two supplies are used to mash and grind food The bowl is called a mortar and the long rock is called a pestle This is a large amount of land that the Miwoks owned way back in their time ; a long time ago This is a coyote The Miwok spirit This is a kotcha This is one of the Coast Miwoks’ houses
This is a basket , woven very tightly together by the Coastal Miwok Strong enough to hold water This is what the Coastal Miwoks would wear when they would dance What you see here is wolf fur hung up on a kotcha This is a rock used by the Coastal Miwok to make tools
What you see here are tons of baskets made out of tule and other materials This is an arrow head The Coastal Miwoks would use them as weapons These are shells The Coastal Miwoks would shape them , drill holes in them and then use them as money These are acorns The Coastal Miwoks would use them as food This basket was woven with a design on it
