  2. Coastal Miwoks ate mashed acorns. The Coastal Miwoks liked to eat acorns. The Coastal Miwoks ate lots of different foods. Miwok women, men, and children gathered acorns In the fall when they are ripe on the oak trees. The acorns were stored in granaries.

  3. The deer were important because the Coastal Miwoks ate their meat and make blanket with their fur. The hunter would not eat the deer they Would give it to the village.

  4. The Coastal Miwoks picked a variety of nuts and vegetables, which they gathered to make some more interesting and tasty. Cattail seed were ground into bread.
