  3. CPD Approach aimed to: • Develop long term mature relationships to develop university facing employers. • Provide evidence complying with HEFEC updated 2009 strategic priorities. • Encompass & build upon cultures of participants. Forsyth & Goodwin 2009

To facilitate CPD: • HE must be: • proactive & explain what it can offer • listen to employer needs • develop collaborative solutions • WBL joint R&D • become first port of call for CPD, R&D & problem solving • HE must recognise that Primary organisations outsource to their supply chain. • HE and Employers jointly promote CPD.   5. Successful CPD will: • Improve the agility of both HE & employers to effectively respond to continually rising expectations of customers. • Offer HE and employers cross fertilisation of ideas and new skills. Forsyth & Goodwin 2009
