Flying bird

Flying bird. Place the paper coloured side down on the table. Fold it in half diagonally. Open it out. ..and flatten it down. Label the corners A and B…. A and B close up!. Fold B into the middle foldline. Fold A to meet B at the foldline. Fold the top down to meet A and B.

  1. Flying bird

  2. Place the paper coloured side down on the table.

  3. Fold it in half diagonally

  4. Open it out..

  5. ..and flatten it down.

  6. Label the corners A and B…

  7. A and B close up!

  8. Fold B into the middle foldline

  9. Fold A to meet B at the foldline

  10. Fold the top down to meet A and B

  11. Fold the point back up again

  12. Fold it in half along the foldline

  13. And now for the tricky part so watch carefully!

  14. Hold the base and gently pull on the ‘beak’

  15. Pull it to form a neck

  16. Squash the neck to make a fold.

  17. Squash the neck to make the head

  18. A beautiful bird – well done!
