2. • QUESTION • OBJECTIFS Work on our English and managerial objectives. To try to link English and Management. Introduce daily English in the project. • RESSOURCES - Internet - Our researches - Oral presentation • ACTIVITIES Before holidays each one had to do researches about product which commercially succeeded : Success stories. Everybody explain in English the result of his researches to the rest of the team. We prepared an other oral presentation, each one has to study ONE success story to understand how the company built the communication about the product. And then we concluded : what could be exported to our communication concept ? Finally we proceed to MBTI exercises in English to develop our tertiary function. • EVALUATION The two first activities are almost similar. First because the subject was the same. And because the objectives are the same : researches and presentation. And because of all these exercises, English in project starts to be automatically which is a very good thing. • CONCLUSION We succeeded to integrate English in daily project. We defined managerial objectives and we integrated English to Management too. After all these oral exercises we maybe need to review our objectives to reassess them.

3. Partie équipe apprenante Pour cette présentation orale nous avons intégré un nouveau mode de fonctionnement que nous n’avions pas encore expérimenté. En effet, pour les précédentes présentations, chacun préparait de son côté son oral puis présentait ensuite aux autres ses recherches avec éventuellement des corrections sur des erreurs remarquées à l’oral (Caroline notamment). Cette fois-ci il y avait la possibilité de se faire aider pour préparer son oral, de travailler en binôme, de demander des conseils. C’est ce que Yann a fait en demandant de l’aide à Abire pour la compréhension d’un texte écrit. La prochaine étape, consistera peut-être à nous filmer puis à débriefer les présentations de chacun et réécouter plusieurs fois les présentations pour corriger les erreurs faites à l’oral. Concernant nos activités du MBTI, nous continuons à travailler nos fonctions tertiaire et inférieur, dans le but pour chacun de s’exercer dans ses zones d’inconfort. C’est par exemple le cas de Yann et Sophie pour arriver à exprimer leurs sentiments, leurs ressentis, leurs émotions, Aurélien qui doit travailler son côté organisationnel et Abire mise dans des situations où des décisions rapides doivent être prises. • Abire • Pour les présentations en anglais, je n’étais pas très motivé pour la faire, parce que je trouve que l’activité devient répétitive ... et du coup je n’arrive plus à m’y intéresser comme avant. Ma motivation principale pour faire ce genre d’exercice était de me préparer pour notre soutenance intermédiaire qui était en anglais. Maintenant je préférerai plus travailler l’anglais spontané qui, je pense, est plus difficile à acquérir et tout aussi utile pour ma vie plus tard. • Concernant les exercices MBTI, afin de développer ma fonction tertiaire j’ai dû écrire les actions à mener suite un évènement en moins de 2 minute (évènement : panne de machine dans une usine). Cet exercice n’était pas évident pour moi mais je l’ai tout de même trouvé plus simple à réaliser que ce que je pensais  • Aurélien What about different exercises ? The first one was quiet easy but very interesting because we had to present the result of our work. It’s an exercise we’ll practice very often in a company. The second one was boring ! It’s the third time we make presentations, and I think we should improve the exercise :

4. Idea : We noticed during the intermediate presentation that the difficulty of this exercise isn’t the way to prepare it. But it’s to expose us to the audience. That’s why it should be interesting to invite students and especially Erasmus people. I think it’s very interesting to combine our managerial objectives with English. It’s one of the first time of my life that I realize a work in English without really prepare it. I think it’s a good way to improve our spontaneity and our English conscience. What about my role in English ? Since Caroline’s departure I really thought it was my part to lead the project team to practice English. I tried but it was sometimes very difficult because we really needed to work on operating sides of the project. But I feel now an enthusiasm around English in project from everybody but especially Sophie who helps me. This state of mind push me to an interrogation : Why not, every 2 weeks the person in charge of English could give us a “program” of our English work : Planning, objectives, kind of activities, time, … And for me it will be a great exercise to improve my organization in the work. • Sophie I have done an exercise in order to develop my tertiary function in MBTI program. This exercise was to describe a daily object without details. Aurélien had to guess my daily object (a hand bag) I realized this exercise in English. I have not prepared it and I was happy about my oral English level because since my come back in France I have not speak in English. I liked to speak in English, I did not impressed. Then I enjoyed doing the presentation in English on the Evian brand. This work has allowed me to translate what I do in French in English. I am happy because I did not lose so much my oral English level that I acquired in Finland. With this exercise, I did not feel alone in front of a group but rather in relation with the team. I really liked this state of mind. When I did not succeed to express an idea, I explained it with my words to get around the difficulty. The other people in the team helped me and all was good. This exercise wonder me to think more than usual before talking and go to the essential, not to scatter me. Indeed, when I do not control something in French, I tend to scatter me in order to explain. I think I have found my place in the project and in the team. I feel me completely concerned about the issues of the project and of the team. I want to speak more in English during the project.

5. • Yann Cette nouvelle présentation en anglais à présenter au groupe est pour moi une nouvelle occasion de pratiquer l’anglais oral. Cependant, cette présentation fait l’objet de certaines contraintes me concernant dues à mon niveau intermédiaire en anglais. _ Tout d’abord je dois lire au moins deux fois un article pour arriver à bien le comprendre ce qui me fait passer pas mal de temps à la lecture. _ Aussi, laissant certaines informations en route que je n’ai pas comprises à la lecture, je dois généralement trouver un second article pour compléter mes informations. C’est pourquoi sur un article assez court, j’ai fais appel à Abire pour m’aider à bien comprendre l’article et ne pas passer à côté d’informations essentielles. Cela m’a permis de gagner un peu de temps et surtout travailler ma compréhension écrite avec Abire qui a eu un rôle d’expert pour moi. J’ai apprécié les échanges que nous avons eus, cela m’a motivé et c’est plus agréable pour moi de la préparer accompagné d’un équipier. _ Pour préparer ma préparation orale, j’ai aussi perdu du temps car j’ai dû écrire une partie des idées que j’allais aborder oralement. En revanche, contrairement à l’exercice de lecture, je n’ai pas encore trouvé de méthode d’apprentissage à deux pour préparer ma présentation orale. Je sais cependant que si je rédige ce que je vais écrire je peux être corrigé mais mon but étant de réduire mon texte, je dois apprendre à travailler une présentation orale avec un expert en prenant le moins de notes possibles.
