  1. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. (Psalms 103:7 NKJV)

  2. Unfortunately, many acts are incorrectly attributed to God. When that happens, any sensible person is going to begin to question God’s ways and sometimes even His existence.

  3. How we see God determines how we relate to Him. If we’re doing the right things, but we don’t enjoy them, we’re seeing Him improperly. This makes spending time praying, attending church, studying, serving and etc. laborious, routine and stale.

  4. Pictures of God The Eternal Judge The one who awaits eagerly for us to commit a violation so that he can render swift and harsh punishment. God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day. (Psalms 7:11 NKJV)

  5. Pictures of God The Great Oz The one who has imposed endless rules and restrictions that are solely designed to serve His interest and to rob us of joy and freedom of life.

  6. Pictures of God The Great Oz 'But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you. 'And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. (Leviticus 26:14-18 NKJV)

  7. Pictures of God D.E.M.A. (Divine Emergency Management Agency) The one who is set off in the distance and is obligated to swiftly answer our every beck and call. When there is trouble or the potential for it he is to be quickly on the scene fulfilling our numerous desires.

  8. Pictures of God D.E.M.A. (Divine Emergency Management Agency) In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me. (Psalms 86:7 NKJV) Hear my cry; for I am brought very low; deliver me from my pursuers; for they are stronger than I. (Psalms 142:6 MKJV)

  9. Pictures of God The Good Good Father The One Who lovingly cares for us and Who yearns to be connected with us in every aspect of our lives. He found a way to pour out the punishment we all deserved on Himself. He provides boundaries and instruction for our protection and well-being. He longs to be our rescue in the face of trouble. He gives us perhaps the greatest gift ever; the ability to be just like Him – the freedom to choose.

  10. Pictures of God The Good Good Father "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. (Matthew 6:9 NKJV) “So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.””(Romans 8:15 NLT) Abba - My DADDY/PAPA Who loves and enjoys me.

  11. So what picture of God is hanging up in your house? What picture of God is hanging up in your heart and mind? “…For he [God] said, “Anyone who harms you harms my most precious possession [the apple of My eye].” Zechariah 2:8b NLT
