  4. About the Park • 1917 as Mount. McKinley national park, but then it was changed to Denali National Park. The park is 6,000,000 acres! That could fit about 12 Rhode Islands! • This park is located in Interior, Alaska. • This park was founded in 1976.

  5. Tourist Attractions • There is one long road that tourists can walk on and this path leads to Mount. McKinley

  6. Why Kids Visit • What is a Junior Ranger you say? If you become a Junior Ranger you can complete a series of activities, and receive a badge and a certificate. • Also you can learn about dinosaur tracks. • In Denali you can become a Junior Ranger!!

  7. When it was Founded • Denali National Park was founded on February 26 1917. • The park was founded by President Woodrow Wilson.
