  3. Question #1 • The activity, lesson and/or experience that shows my critical thinking and intellectual independence in math was when we did the mid- year because it was really challenging and so I took my time and thought out my answers.

  4. Question #2 • This matters, or is important to mebecause I need to be independent or I won’t do well in math because we have homework every night and we have tests that I cannot work with other people on. This is why Intellectual Independence is important to me.

  5. Question #3 • I will use, or apply this to strengthen myself as a learner and think more critically in other areas bysometimes being alone so I can be more prepared for tests or homework by myself.

  7. In Class One time I had Intellectual Independence was when we were in class and I did all my math homework by myself. This was hard for me because I usually have my friends to help me, but we weren’t allowed to work together. I don’t have a photo or video of this event because It was a while back.

  8. On a test When your taking a test your usually independent. I think I start to tune out after a while because I get bored. One example is the mid year test, everyone gets bored because no one is talking. We just took this today, so I remember this clearly.

  9. Why it is a Virtue I think that being independent is a good virtue to have because if you don’t like your own company, no one will like your company. You need to be able to do things on your own. I think I enjoy when I’m by myself if I need to be alone.
