Welcome ASL 3! • Doorbuster- In teams, how would you sign (I will take volunteers in a minute): • 1.“I’m thinking about going to the movies on Friday.” • 2.“I really don’t want to stay after school today.” • Goal: no lip movements; eyebrows over Time and Object when signing; ASL Order as best as you can • ASL Order (topic over Time, Object- and sometimes Subject for emphasis): • ________t_ _ _ _ _ • Time Object Subject Verb • Sometimes ASL Order is switched, and looks more like English- for emphasis, etc. • When signing, try to do ASL order, but it is okay if it is not perfect- communication is the key!!!
