THE KING IS COMING March YOUTH IMPACT WEEKEND KORNER KIDS Meals on Wheels Sandwich Night 6:00 by Michael McCurry I wanted to take a minute to say … You did a great job singing Special music for the congregation at church. Ms Tammy and I are very proud of you and the hard work you always put into serving the Lord through your singing. I also want to thank the parents & guardians that are involved and make it appoint to get the children here to practice. Thank you all. I want to invite you to come to Sunday school at 9:30 and to Children’s Church at 10:30 each Sunday morning. We will begin two new songs to learn for the next performance in Children’s choir at 6:30 on Wednesday night. Last but not least, we will be having a “Welcome Spring” party at Mr. Ghattis on March 10 at 11:00. We will meet at church at 11:00 and return at 2:00. Hope to see you there. I love you all… Mrs. Kim Small Group Leader’s Meeting 6:00 Easter is quickly approaching and we have great things planned here at West End. We will be presenting the drama “The King is Coming” on April 6th and 7th at 7:30pm. This unique production will feature our Adult Choir and a cast of 20 dedicated church members. Work has been going on behind the scenes for weeks and God is truly blessing this effort. The amount of support we have received in this endeavor has been phenomenal. Make plans to attend either of these nights and please tell a friend to come and join you. I hope you will all take advantage of this special effort at evangelism and help us fill our church. We should all be proud of what God is doing in our presence. Witness March / April BRINING New Opportunities Has Great Things forYou! by Rodney Cook by Deborah Ann Belka GOD Winter will soon be over and Spring will be upon us. It is a time of trees budding and grass springing forth with new life. This is always a great time of year on the Church Calendar. It is the time of Easter and the celebration of the death, burial and glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This year we will celebrate with a wonderful Easter Cantata that we can invite our entire community to attend. Our Choir and a host of others will present the drama “The King Is Coming”. This will be the most ambitious undertaking our music Ministry has put forth since I have been here as Pastor. Pray for Michael McCurry and all who will be involved in putting this program on. Also Spring is a great time for the Church to launch new ministries. The weather gets better, the days get longer and this increases our opportunities for both ministry and fellowship as a church. We will begin our new Outreach Ministry to Apartment complexes this Spring. We will begin with seven weeks of prayer walking at these potential ministry sites. This is just walking at theses places and asking God to bless and save the people who live there. We will also pray to be able to meet and get to know people there with whom we can begin to minister. Whether you can come out and walk or not I hope you will ALL pray for this ministry and for the souls of these people who need Christ. Pray also for the Easter Drama that God would use this Gospel presentation to bring many to faith in Christ. God has great things for you, better than you can conceivebigger that you can imagine if you'd just trust and believe.He has a plan and a purpose, He is working everything outthings are going to be different so don't you worry or doubt.He is full of love and wisdom, and knows what it right for youHe will do more then you ask if you let Him work it all through.His timing is perfect and flawless, it comes when you're able and readyto receive His grace in abundance so keep your faith in Him steady. God has great things for you, they will exceed all that you needso be patience and be prepared when to them ~ He's ready to lead! …Your Pastor
