  2.    The oil inside the car engine helps to protect and lubricate the various components inside it. You need this oil in the best condition so that it can carry out its required job effectively. With time, your car engine oil might get polluted with the accumulation of impurities that can affect its performance. Better quality of engine oil means longer lifespan of your motor.

  4. Set up the spot where you are going to carry out the whole task. Put all your tools, containers, rags and supplies in one and get going.   Now place your bike on the side-stand, rear -stand or centre- stand if you have one. Place your drain stand directly under the bolt.

  5. Remove the bolt using a socket wrench and don’t burn yourself if the oil is still hot.  Let the impure oil to finish draining while you take off the oil filter.  With the help of filter wrench remove the oil filter.  Remove the old crush washer and install a fresh one.

  6.    Secure the drain bolt back in but make sure it is clean. Prep your oil filter by filling it up with about a quarter full of fresh oil. Now clean the area around the filter off any dirt or grime and dab a small amount of fresh oil around the areas just to get a good clean contact. Lastly, clean up all the oil stains, put all the screws and caps in place and you are good to go.
