PROGRAM: The A/E Partnership Program is intended • to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and goodwill of the working relationship between the University and the architectural and engineering (A/E) design community, and • to encourage broad participation of the A/E community in providing services to the University with particular emphasis on the participation of Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBE), small businesses, and firms with little or no experience working with the University of Washington. THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP • Refer new and MWBE firms to me for info on working at UW and encourage new firms to seek work here • Promote the use of the Roster for “selections from file” to increase the use of new firms • Help and participation in Networking Events • Recognize the long term value to UW/CPO in the use of a diverse group of A/E service providers • Read “Profiles” articles A/E Partnership Program October 6, 2011
