  2. Movement • Tigers can move very fast for a long time. • All tigers move on their toes. • Tigers can jump at least 23 feet.

  3. Habitat • Most tigers live in Asia. • Some live in the rainforest. • Tigers live in territories in the jungle.

  4. Babies • Baby tigers are called cubs. • They love to play. • Boy cubs grow faster than girl cubs.

  5. Appearance • All tigers have black stripes. • Most tigers have orange fur. • They have a white chest. • A tiger’s body is covered with fur.

  6. What they eat • Tigers hunt alone. • Tigers like to eat meat. • Tigers eat pigs as much as they eat deer.

  7. Interesting Facts • A tiger blends in with big grass. • When tigers roar for no reason they are getting ready to attack. • Tigers have great senses of sight and sound.
