Orcas, also known as Killer Whales, are members of the dolphin family and are the largest of all dolphins, growing up to 9m in length and weighing up to 6 tons. They are apex predators at the top of the food chain and have a diverse menu including sea birds, squid, sea turtles, seals, sharks, and even whales. Orcas use echolocation, a sonar system, to detect and locate objects underwater. Highly social, they hunt in packs and have a good sense of touch and hearing.
