Killer whales knows as Orcas

Orcas, also known as Killer Whales, are members of the dolphin family and are the largest of all dolphins, growing up to 9m in length and weighing up to 6 tons. They are apex predators at the top of the food chain and have a diverse menu including sea birds, squid, sea turtles, seals, sharks, and even whales. Orcas use echolocation, a sonar system, to detect and locate objects underwater. Highly social, they hunt in packs and have a good sense of touch and hearing. Although not able to smell, these magnificent marine creatures are known for their cooperation and strategic hunting techniques. Thank you for learning about Orcas! Presented by Fabian Brodzik.
