Campus, Ivy Tech, VU • Representation from Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) and 3 ICI Institutions (Indiana Wesleyan, U of Indpls., Valparaiso U) • Strong Faculty Representation • 10+ Others (Indiana DOE, CELL) • Chaired by Dr. Kathy Tobin (Purdue-Calumet)

Core Transfer Library (CTL) • Number of Courses: 89, soon to be 97 • Challenges: • Filling in gaps • Courses delivered through distance education • Adding dual credit courses • Fully incorporating ICI courses
2+2 Articulations • Currently, Separate Articulations with all 14 University Campuses for Ivy Tech and VU, e.g. • Ivy Tech has to develop/maintain 14 separate articulation agreements for Biology or Business Administration • Same for VU • Common Statewide Articulations Needed: • Too complicated, inefficient • Confusion for students
Dual Credit • Dual Credit Advisory Council • Coherent policy on AP and dual credit courses • Priority courses in the liberal arts identified at December 2009 meeting • CHE • Updated 2005 Policy on Dual Credit at its February 2010 meeting • NACEP (National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships) accreditation referenced, but not required
Dual Credit Subcommittee of STAC • Subcommittee Focusing on: • Reviewing institutional dual credit programs that are not NACEP accredited (both public and ICI) • Completing review by September • After September, identifying what information should be reported on a regular basis and according to what timetable
Besides Dual Credit Courses • Advanced Placement • (4-person team from College Board coming to STAC meeting on April 30) • International Baccalaureate • CLEP • CAEL • ACE/Dantes/DSST
Tracking Students • Using CHE SIS Data • Adding ICI SIS Data • Challenge: Lack of Transcript-Level Data
Transfer-Related Technology • Outside Funding Opportunities Will Affect TransferIN Budget • If Federal SLDS Grant Comes Through, We Will Be Able To: • Add ICI institutions to a greater extent • Add learning outcomes to courses descriptions
