3. I Care – Beyonce This song is mainly about a girls heart being broken. I think that she’s trying to tell her boyfriend/spouse that she cares way more than he ever could; she cares about everything. I think that he isn’t as into the relationship as she is. It saddens her that she could put her all into something and in the end, she gets hurt from him not caring as much as she does. Something that I really had to work on as a younger girl was how much I cared about things. I felt as though I cared too much about the smallest things; and I put my all into something that went nowhere. Not specifically love, but other things as well. I wouldn’t say I am heartless, but I’ve learned through time to use my heart … well, less. In times, it has helped shape me. I’m never focused on caring about things that will eventually work their way out, I’m focused on caring how it would change me as a person instead.

5. Beautiful – To me, this takes me back to middle school. Where in 6th grade, everybody had their little “cliques” and alienated themselves from people who were “different.” they never accepted people and what they looked like and vice versa. In middle school is when different styles start coming more noticeable; in example: Emo, Preppy, Jock, etc. I think that people forgot that what is on the outside shouldn’t matter. Its all about how the person is on the inside. You are beautiful… inside and out I think this song means that Everybody has their own look. And their look shouldn’t define them as a person, only what’s inside should count. All of your flaws should be accepted; as well as mistakes. You are human, and you cant mask how you are/what you look like. People should accept you even if you aren’t just like them. • Christina Aguilera

She loves how he was there for her and cared about her, and most importantly, loved her in a whole.
