We will one day reach the point where education can be scalable in that way, but in the meantime, we have online learning. Here are some of the main differences between online and classroom learning. There are lots of reasons why you might want online as opposed to a classroom and you can get similar results. Location, Location, Location If you are in an area where the school can’t afford to provide, being able to access quality education from wherever you are is a godsend. Parents everywhere are looking for ways to make sure that their kids get the best high school experience possible and sometimes, it is easiest when you can do it online from your home. Resources Most schools have membership with online research databases, so doing research papers might be easier with a place that has access to scholarly resources. Universities have lots of their stuff online if you are able to access their library systems, so it can be a good idea to reach out to a college in the area to see if you can gain access early for your young student. It is getting to the point where we may one day have a much larger market for online learning. In the meantime, there are plenty of benefits and differences to online learning over classrooms. When you are not in a school, you will not have the same access to their resources, so you might have to get creative about where you can get help.
