Caribbean SME Development Finance Ltd (SME Devfin) • SME Devfin provides Technical Assistance and Business Development Services to support Micro, Small & Medium-sized Enterprises in the Caribbean (www.smedevin.com) • It is 50% owned by the Emerging Enterprises Venture Fund Caribbean Trust (EEVF Caribbean Trust) and DEVCAP (an equity fund Manager), a subsidiary of DFL Caribbean Holdings Ltd
CDN Management Institute • CDN Management Services Ltd successfully promoted high-level management training seminars in Port-of-Spain since 1998 - participants came from everywhere - Belize down to Suriname • The first events were in the early nineties - two week training courses in development banking held annually in Tobago
Goal and Objective • Our goal is to facilitate training in specialised subject areas within core disciplines in the financial services industry in the Caribbean • The objective of every seminar is to provide knowledge and insights, encouraging participants to develop and practice skills to be functional in the subject area at the end of the seminar
QUALITY is our Business Philosophy • We carefully select trainers based on subject expertise, experience and proven training skills • Participation is limited to 15 persons on five day courses ; we encourage participants to exchange views and share ideas outside of the classroom • Management monitors every course
Facilities and Resources • We have training facilities in POS, Georgetown and in Grenada – with full scope, multi-point video-conferencing - web-based demonstrations and training in software applications • The POS centre has simultaneous translation facilities in three languages • Experienced, subject-oriented trainers come from the European Union, Canada, the USA and the Caribbean
