  4. Definition of a Business • Organization • Provides goods and/or services to the public • Meets consumer demand • Tries to make a profit

  6. Services • Charge fees for offering labour

  7. Merchandising • Purchases goods and resells them for a profit.

  8. Manufacturing • Produces (makes) goods and sells them.

  9. Non Profit (Not for Profit) • Organizations that raise money for social programs or charities.
