Concluding remarks • The survey was conducted with voluntary support from many persons. SOJ is thankful to all of them. The survey results revealed that • People are not happy with the current law and order situation. • Maintaining law and order situation falls naturally to the government. The respondents opined that the government and its machineries did not play their due role to ensure human security. • It is a basic right of the citizen to get that security from state through its different apparatus. They also reminded that only the government can not ensure it and people in general, political parties and civil society have to play their role in this regard. • The role of civil society has been highlighted as the respondent might find them accessible than the government, administration and political parties. • As the respondents identified the current impasse in law and order situation is a political one, political parties whether its ruling or opposition, have to settle things down. We all believe that people are on top of everything we do for. And for their sake the political parties have to come forward with solution of this political problem once and for all. Otherwise the people may not tolerate the sufferings of humanity for infinity. Can we hope that we would not have to see that level of intolerance in our society?
