General program advising (new students): red = required course • Master’s students • R511 • R521 • And one or two more courses—e.g., R621, R660, R685, P540—ask your advisor later today • Doctoral students • If you do NOT have a MS in IST or similar degree • R511, R521, and R690 (not much choice) • If you already have an M.S. in IST or similar degree • R690, R711, and one or two more courses—e.g., R621, R660, R685, Y520, P540—ask your advisor later today • Transfer of credits? Depends. Check w/ your advisor.
