The wonder of light For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life, Proverbs 6:23 “Now this is the commandment—the statutes and the rules —that the LORD your God commanded me to teach you, that you may do them in the land to which you are going over, to possess it,You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deuteronomy 6:1,7

The wonder of light For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life, Proverbs 6:23 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning. Proverbs 9:9 Through your precepts I get understanding;therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:104,105

The worth of light bearers. . . . if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in their teaching Romans 12:7 He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children. Psalm 78:5 Hear, my son, your father's instruction, and forsake not your mother's teaching. Proverbs 1:8

  5. 2. The worth of light bearers. The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death. Proverbs 13: 14 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:28 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. James 3:1
