Assessment Coordinator Checklist • Schedule Labs for online CRTs • Prepares Teacher to proctor a test • Ensures that accommodation codes are set • Verify Teacher is assigned correct tests • Ensures Teacher and students know log ons • Provides Teacher with TAMs • Ensures Make-up Testing occurs • Submits tests for scoring • Informs District when testing is complete

  3. Web Site Organization • Proctor Site • Start/End CRT • Generate test codes • DAS site • Administration side of the CRT • Enter Accommodation codes • Print out student tickets • Authorize educators as proctors

Test Day Scenario 3-12 • Teacher logs onto network with normal login • Teacher visits utah.measuredprogress.org • Student logs onto network normal login • Student visitsstudents.utah.measuredprogress.org • Schedules labs for Online CRT • Ensures that scheduled labs have Internet access • Ensures that accommodations are correctly marked • Both SWD and LEP Teachers and Students Assessment Coordinator

Test Day Scenario 3-12 • Teacher clicks on Proctor Live Test and logs in with proctor password • Student clicks onSpring 2013 Live • Student logs in • 071561698333 • 04291999 • Provide teacher with username and password in advance • Train on five digit id unique to your school • Add Student ID thereafter • Birth date - no slashes Teacher and Students Assessment Coordinator

  6. Test Day Scenario 3-12 • Teacher selects test • Provides test code to students • Student enters code and clicks • Walk teachers through proctoring a test so they know how to generate a test code Teacher and Students Assessment Coordinator

Test Day Scenario 3-12 • Teacher reads Test Directions to students • Teacher selects section of test and clicks • Students click until test question appears • Provide Teacher with TAM (Test Administration Manual) in advance of test • Print electronic version from online site. Teachers and Students Assessment Coordinator

  8. Test Day Scenario 3-12 • Teacher actively proctors test • Students answer questions until end of section Teacher and Students Assessment Coordinator

Test Day Scenario 3-12 • Teacher clicks • Teacher adds any comments • Teacher clicks • Teacher clicks OK • Teacher clicks Logout • Students exit test • For Grades 3-12 -Visit utah.measuredprogress.org and log on as A.E.C. • Reporting – Monitor Test Progress • Click Status Header to sort by sections complete • Note students who need a make-up session Teacher and Students Assessment Coordinator

Test Day Scenario 3-12 • Teacher returns testing materials to the A.E.C. when sessions are complete. • Ensures that any make-up testing occurs • Submits the students for scoring • Visits DAS web site • Reporting – Monitor Test Progress • Select Group – check boxes next to names • Clicks Teacher & Students Assessment Coordinator

Test Day Scenario 3-12 • Raw scores in 48 hrs • Celebrate strengths • Checks all classes • Encore – Support Services – Research and Assessment – Site Test Coordinators – myDSD online test tracker • Informs district when all students have completed testing • Destroys TAMs Teacher and Students Assessment Coordinator

Student Cheats • Notes student name • Informs student their test will be flagged • Adds appropriate comment when session ends • Informs A.E.C. • Passes name and comment along to school principal • Adds note to student folder that test score is not an accurate reflection of the student’s ability Teacher Assessment Coordinator

  13. New Student Arrives • If the student is new to the district, Research and Assessment will automatically create a user account for the test • If transferring classes, teacher informs A.E.C. • Be aware of SWD or LEP accommodations needed • Informs district which then moves the student to correct reporting group Teacher Assessment Coordinator

Multiple Test Sections • Proctor computer: • Clicks on Test Selection • Selects all sections • Clicks Go • second test code • For Make-Up Testing: • Clicks on Test Selection • Selects desired Test • Starts all missed section of the test • Informs student of test code • Repeat for each test missed Teacher Assessment Coordinator

  15. Braille and Large Print • Logs on as student and transcribes their responses into the computer test. • Ordered in advance of testing window • Provide a second adult as the teacher transcribes the answers into the computer. Teacher Assessment Coordinator
