  3. - ACT and MME scores strongly correlated - ACT helps kids get into college - ACT is an “open book” - plenty of support materials - ACT is stable and national

  4. Freshmen Admission to the University is decided on an individual basis. The average WMU freshman has a 3.3 high school GPA and a 22 ACT score, but these numbers should not be viewed as minimum or cutoff points since students both above and below these averages are considered for admission. Your application is reviewed using a combination of these key factors: grade point average, ACT / SAT score, number and type of college prep courses, and trend of grades.
