  1. 4.22.14 Bell Ringer Unit 4 Check-in : Do you agree or disagree: cultural and personal expression is good for society? Do you agree or disagree: art, song, poetry, dance, and music can change the way people see the world. Provide an example from the Great Depression or World War II that proves your answer to # 1 or #2.

Connecting Propaganda to WWII #s (20 min) Tars are C.H.A.M.P.S. • CONVERSATION: Small group, large group, and cooperative about art and WWII. • HELP: Ask a neighbor or raise your hand. • ACTIVITY: Making graphs and analyzing art handout. • MOVEMENT: Moving into small groups. • PARTICIPATION: Use cell phones for timers, no heads down, no headphones, no off task conversations.
