Purpose of the Meeting • Explain creek upgrade option – within context of the Brown Hill Keswick Creek Stormwater Management Plan • Get an understanding of the type of works likely to be required within your area / property • Discuss any concerns or opportunities
Brown Hill Keswick Creek Stormwater Management Aim • To substantially reduce the number of properties within the catchment that would be affected by very large flood events Progress • Part A: Lower part of the catchment – works progressing well • Part B: Further investigations for upper catchment - Flood control dam in rural catchment - Culverts on the plains
Reduced flood risks Revised data • New rainfall data • Improved flood plain modelling Outcome • Reduced flooding • Creek clearing still required
