Background • Teva Pharmaceuticals is originally from Jerusalem and was created in 1901. • Teva Pharmaceuticals is a company that manufactures, develops and markets branded and generic pharmaceuticals. • This pharmaceutical company is the largest manufacturer of generic drugs in the United States. • Teva has over 400 generic prescription drugs that they develop and they range from cardiovascular, anti-inflammatory, anti-infective, oncology, central nervous system, and dermatological drugs.
