  3. Brent Schillage is an attorney and entrepreneur who was born and raised in the United States, but currently makes his home in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

  4. He is the owner of numerous businesses, including the Schillage Law Group, a nationwide legal referral service that helps people across the country understand their legal options in personal injury claims, and helps them find the right lawyer for their cases.

  5. He also owns a HomeVestors franchise that is based in Fort Lauderdale. Also known as We Buy Ugly Homes, HomeVestors buys houses that are not necessarily ugly, but for one reason or another have been difficult to sell.

  6. The company pays cash for the house, rehabilitates them, and either sells them to investors, buyers, or rents them to tenants. “The rental property I had needed so much work, I couldn’t believe it,” said one Oklahoma City customer.

  7. “I was in the process of getting a dumpster to clean out the house that the renters had trashed, holes in the walls, just a mess. That’s when I contacted HomeVestors after seeing the billboard ... When HomeVestors offered a fair price, and I found out I could actually make some money, I was thrilled.”

  8. Brent Schillage received his law degree from Tulane University law school, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and his MBA from Tulane’s A.B. Freeman Business School.
