  2. I chose to have my elective placement at ILE-IFE Osun State Nigeria. • Ife is a Yoruba ancient city in south-western Nigeria • Ife is about 218 kilometres (135 mi) northeast of Lagos. • Language spoken – Yoruba + English

  3. Where did i go I spend two weeks at Obafemi Awolowo Teaching Hospital Complex I spend time in theatres, Gynaecology and ICU I spend the other two weeks in a missionary hospital. Seventh day Adventist Hospital Ile-Ife I spend time in Casualty/ A&E

  6. What was my role? • I was treated as a final year nursing student.

What did I feel comfortable? • How passionate the staff when providing care even with limited resources • The support I receive • Attitude to work • How grateful the patient and relative were and attitude to life. • uncomfortable in this situation?
