Situation of crimes in modern Britain Has the highest criminal rate in the western world. The capital of crimes in western world. The number is still rising. Causing many social problems.
From 1993 to 1996, the number was decreasing. • But in 2001-2002, the criminal rate increased by 7%,up to 5.52million. robbery, Increased by 28%,the number of burglary and car stealing increased.
Offences recorded in 1995. The total number of crimes against property is 4.7million, up to 93% of total, 5.1million. • Against cars 26% • Burglary 24% • Other theft 22% • Criminal damage 18% • Violence 6% • Others 1%
The most frequently committed crimes: • Crimes against property i.e. theft, handling, stolen goods, fraud, forgery and criminal damage

Solutions • Help the poor. • Establish a healthy developing system • Increase people’s law awareness through education • Improve the law and policing systems • And so on China: control its population and enhance the nation’s quality
