Transportation • Increased local road and bridge funding by eliminating off the top expenditure for the State Police, BMV • Dedicated 1.5 percent of the overall sales tax collections to the MVH fund. • This will increase county distributions for the MVH fund by nearly $70 million each year. Transportation • Alternative FuelsTax • Fuel tax imposing the existing rates on the diesel or gasoline gallon equivalents of the various forms of natural gas sold. • Generate revenue in an amount approaching $1 M HB 1324 (Frye) Motor Fuels

Transportation • Permits a county income tax council to impose a motor vehicle excise surtax and a wheel tax for a county. • 45 counties have not adopted • Could raise an estimated $70M if they adopt the taxes at the maximum rates. • Votes on the income tax council are apportioned based on population where SB 389 (Boots) County Excise Surtax and Wheel Tax.

Gaming • This bill eliminates the casino admissions tax. • Reduces the set amount distributed to every non-gaming county by $6.5 M. • Counties can not afford to take this loss SB 528 Gaming (Boots)
