  2. Scope of Course • Introduction to Bioinformatics and Biocomputing • Basic knowledge and skills in Internet Bioinformatics and BioDatabases • Basic knowledge of key topics in bioinformatics and biocomputing

  3. Scope of Practicals • Users' Guide to Basic Internet services available on NUSNET - Email, Telnet, FTP, World Wide Web, Mailing Lists and NewsGroups • Basic HTML, and creation of Biological Website • Creating a simple BioDatabase with form filling HTML commands, input and search capability

  4. Assessment • Continual Assessment of Practical • "Exam" at the end of the course
