Protective Doors Testing and approvals of blast resistant doors Due to the large size of the object, blast testing of the blast resistant doors is usually difficult and very expensive. Therefore, the design is usually based on either static or dynamic analysis, where the design load application is given in static pressure or pressure-time load. New 3D-design and analysis tools are routinely used in blast resistant door design.
Protective Doors • The reinforcement of blast protective bulkheads and walls shall be made properly to ensure protection against blast effects. Temet can provide the bulkhead reinforcement design. • The proper installation and alignment of protective doors shall always be checked before casting. Temet can provide the installation supervision services.
