  3. Careers in Digital Production • 3D Artists • 2D Artists • Research and Development • Production Management • Support- catering, human resources, accounting, communications, technical operations

  4. Production Management • Runners, Production assistants, Production Coordinators, Production Managers, Producers • Bring all the disparate forces and skills together to realise a project, on time, within budget • Require financial, political and time management skills • Often study media, film studies, business management, arts administration or specifically film production

  5. Research and Development • High-end software developers • Usually an engineering or computer science education/background • Have to have an active interest in the area of computer graphics – but don’t need to be artists

  6. Specialist v. Generalist • Should I be really good at one thing, • or generally good at a whole lot of things?
