  1. NZQA-approved English Test (NET) Official indication of your English Level 1 The test is a great way to illustrate your overall English Language Proficiency. It will give you an IELTS-equivalent band score for your Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, yet is a much more affordable option than taking an IELTS test! 2 2 Pathway to further study We can use this test to assess and recommended you for direct entry into courses at NZQA Category 1 & 2 colleges and polytechnics without you having to do an IELTS test. NZLC has established pathways with many tertiary education providers. Pathway visas are also available in certain circumstances.
