R-GMA Patches • patch #1639: RGMA glue-archiver fix for bug #27538 and #27595 - Ready for certification • patch #1606: R-GMA flexible archiver fix for bug #24007 - Ready for certification • patch #1558: Replacement patch for R-GMA patch #1426 - Ready for certification • patch #1537: glite-MON for gLite 3.1 / SL4 - Ready for certification Antony Wilson/RAL

  5. Testing • Our testing framework has been overhauled • Make it easier to run for those tests involving many machines • It includes simulations of various R-GMA applications that can be run in parallel for a long period Antony Wilson/RAL

Roll Out of New R-GMA Code • Patch #1537 gLite 3.1 MON Box • We need this to be rolled out prior to our new code being released • Update schema to include new default columns • In units of SP • Update registry with special temporary version along with the new schema • Release new code to sites • Compatibility maintained with old code • After majority of sites have updated • Update existing registry to new code • Old code will NOT work with the new Registry • Configure registry replicas: • Enables registry replication • Introduce new virtual databases Antony Wilson/RAL

  7. Service Discovery • SD API Specification • Almost ready to go for public comment • Implementation • SD core in the SAGA CVS and going into ETICS as an external • bdII and R-GMA C++ adapter/plug-in is working (in gLite CVS) • Wrapper to look like existing gLite SD completed • Mainly for testing • Python wrapper is being worked on Antony Wilson/RAL
