agenda • Noun • A list or program of things to be done or acted upon. • Synonym: schedule • Today’s agenda includes workshops about violence prevention and school safety.
anarchy • Noun • Absence of government authority; general political and social disorder. • Synonyms: disorder, chaos, lawlessness • After the earthquake, Haitians lived in anarchy since the country was in a state of chaos.
articulate • Verb and Adjective • (verb) To pronounce distinctly; to express well in words. • (adjective) Expressed clearly and forcefully; able to employ language easily and fluently. • Synonyms: fluent, clarify • Please be articulate while delivering your speech so everyone can understand you.
