Assessment Considerations • The CMT/CAPT Standard, CMT/CAPT Modified Assessment System (MAS) and the CMT/CAPT Skills Checklist will be administered through the spring of 2014. • After 2014, CT will no longer have 2 alternate assessments. Therefore PPT’s determining assessments for the spring of 2015 will no longer have the CMT/CAPT MAS as an option. • In the spring of 2015 two new assessments aligned to the Common Core State Standards will be administered. • A Standard Assessment : For all students including those students who presently take the CMT/CAPT MAS • An Alternate assessment :For students with the most significant cognitive disabilities replacing the CMT/CAPT Skills Checklist • Students should be provided opportunity to access the MIST practice site throughout the year. No username or password is necessary. https://mist.measinc.com/Proctor/practice
