January 2002 First day on the job. It was love at first sight!
Charlette put me right to work. Sniffing lockers and garbage cans, it’s so much fun.
I got to be the “Star of the Show” as Charlette tells the students to make good choices.
A command from Charlette to “sit” and that’s exactly what I do. I’m a Good Girl!
Me & Charlette Partners In Anti-crime.
While checking lockers, I’m sure not to use my paws. No touching allowed!
Then, Gypsy retired in 2009 & she’s been “whooping it up” ever since…
…and Kaki joined our team soon after. I’ll have to show her the “ropes”
We quickly became fast friends. She fit right in.
I found the firecrackers. Now I get to play with my toy. I love my job!
If you’re wondering what I’ll be doing after retiring, well…
…so don’t worry ‘bout me. I’ll have plenty to keep me busy…. Chester A. Arthur Theodore Roosevelt Mom’s put me in charge!
A special “Thank You” to everyone for making my 10 years at Plano ISD the best any dog could ask for. -Chara
“Hey Chara, thanks for all your good advice.” “Good luck with retirement and don’t chase too many cats!” - Kaki “Thanks Kaki.” “You’re top dog now.” - Chara
