Lesson Building on Prior Knowledge Ask students what part of our body helps us to smell, taste, hear, see and feel? Mouth Nose Eyes Fingers Ears
Introduction Students use their senses as you peel an orange. Pass the peel around and give students a small piece of orange to taste. Ask them: What do you See? Hear? Smell? Feel? Taste?

Story, Practice & Apply Read Story: My Five Senses in English and Spanish MisCincosSentidos Push to hear the story. Make a chart with English words to review story. Students give examples of how senses are used in the story.
Independent Activity Students use new information to create an art project with the five senses. Assessment Students will complete worksheet by filling in the missing words.
