Flexible access & transfer support • Laptop drops • 22 on six floors • Wireless • 3 access points on 3 floors • Expanding now – 12 areas on 9 floors • Lending pool • 14 wireless network cards • 9 Laptops • 5 USB memory keys • 2 e-book readers
Are they using it? • WIBS – Leddy login & reservation system • ~1200 bookings per day • Network traffic increasing significantly • Doubled from March 2004 to 2005 • Printing • ~100,000 pages/month
Proxied web services Access through Leddy’s EZProxy & remote login system • July 2002 - June 2003: 137,000 • July 2003 - June 2004: 423,000 • July 2004 - March 2005: 451,000 • On campus use is ~53% total • Student network in library ~26%
