MAN 310 International Business
Objective • Provide students with a firm understanding of international business. • Given the importance of global events and globalization of business operations, students are expected to grasp relevant theoretical and practical approaches/issues to better understand the word of international business.
Requirements • Familiarity with the basic principles of business management is assumed. • Students are required to attend classes regularly and participate in class discussions. Class participation, measured by attendance and participation in discussions, will be a part of your grade directly. Students are expected to obtain a copy of the textbook as not all the material will be covered in the course in detail, and instructor will direct the students to relevant sections in the book for additional readings.
Requirements • Grades in the course will be based upon • two-midterm exams (60%), • a final exam (30%), • class participation (10%). • Final exam will not be cumulative. In other words, final exam will cover the material discussed after the midterm exam.
Requirements • Cheating will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Cheating includes (but is not limited to): bringing unauthorized materials to the tests; looking at, copying from, or otherwise colluding with anyone during the tests; unauthorized relocation or removal of the test script. Anyone engaging in these activities will automatically receive an “F” grade in the course.
