  3. The usage of 1,3-Propanediol As a monomer in the synthesis of polymethylene terephthalates and the manufacture of polyurethanes and cyclic compounds. Important intermediate for synthetic, it can be used as intermediate of Vitamin H, PTT, 1,3 Dibrominepropane, 1, 3-Propanediol methyl ether, 3-chloro-1-propanol and so on. As a material for the manufacture of carpeting and textile fibers 特性: 柔軟,伸展及回復, 容易照料, 耐髒及固色等特性的布料. (含PDO的聚合物結構中有一種獨特的糾結使其於伸展時可快速地恢復, 此特性使得布料 (例如在膝蓋及手肘處)於伸展時可快速回復到原來的狀態.
