  3. Mouth Cavity 口腔 We use teeth for ingestion, grinding the foods and will be moisture by the saliva . The bolus will be swallowed through the oesophagus and finally reach the stomach.

  6. The chemical digestion in the stomach Stomach Gastric glands secrete gastric juice which contains hydrochloric acid, the lipase breaks down the protein into dipeptides meanwhile the acid kills the bacteria. Few hours later, the chyme will go into the small intestine.

  7. The chyme is in the duodenum. The pancreatic juice and intestinal juice digest the chyme. Meanwhile, the bile juice is secreted through the bile duct and bile salt emusifies the fat into oil droplets. The villus in the ileum will absorb the digested food. Small Intestine

  9. Finally, the undigested foods will be converted in form of faeces and will be excreted.。 Anus
