The Education Toolbox Toolbox includes: • Strategies for Education • Education Committee Responsibilities • Education Planning • Surveys • Descriptions of the Education Programs • Sites and Facilities • Marketing Your Education Event(s) • Best Practices for Successful Events • Incorporating the CRC

Open Enrollment Royalties • Chapters receive a $15 royalty for each paid participant per day. • If more than 15 paid participants are registered, the chapter royalty increases to $25 per day. • For example, if a chapter has 20 paid participants in a two-day course, the royalty would be $25 x 20 x 2 = $1,000.

  7. Education vs. Programming What’s the Difference? Education: • Open enrollments, locally developed training courses, Web seminars, etc. • These are normally offered in classroom format. Programming: • General membership programs, roundtables, and affinity group meetings. • These tend to be shorter in nature.

  8. Exercise • Work as a group to come up with answers to the four questions. • You will only be able to present one answer, but your answer has to be different from one that has already been presented. • The group with the best answer wins!
