  10. SLAMEX Timeline - Thursday • 1100 – Start of SLAMEX (0700 local time) • 1220 – Harry S. Truman (LAC) did not have GCCS-M configured properly (Problem since they must receive SCOs to validate) • Chat: • 1236 OSA reports “Cannot select 4-E missiles, VLS timeout.” • TA responds “Keep working on it, we need 4-Es in the air to test PLE capability” • 1241 SJA reports “VLS power problem with a half module, but no effect on tasking.” • 1250 OSA reports “ALL MISSILES INOP – reloading VLS SIM.” • 1320 – All times are in the A-N report • Original tasking was no-time tasking. 11. SLAMEX Timeline (cont’d) • Meanwhile, SCOs are coming in and being checked on the GCCS machine: • Does altitude match the LAC intention? • Properly routed to avoid threats, tracks, no-fly zones, AOUs, etc • Did FRU ask for Overflight Waivers as necessary? • Example of mistake: FRU requested OFW by name, instead of FOTC track # (problem because multiple tracks may have same name) • Many other grading points • Also grading LAC’s response to violations • 1341 – Area declared HOT • Missiles are launched • 1423 – TA sends message to LAC to assume control for all block IV missiles
