  2. Afton State Park Afton State Park is located on the eastern border of Minnesota, near the town of Stillwater. Afton State Park covers 1,702 acres

  3. Lodging • Afton State Park contains tent camping sites and cabins • Cabins for 6 people with electricity costs $50 per night • Cabins with running water are not available

  4. Activities • There are many activities in Afton State Park: • Hiking trails • Paved bike trails • Geocaching • Park workers will provide GPS units and train visitors in how to find a geocache.

  5. Water Access • Afton State Park is located on the St. Croix River • There is a public beach for swimming and water for fishing • Boats can be launched near the park

  6. Supplies Needed • Bedding for cabins • Food and tools for cooking • Bikes • Backpacks for hiking and geocaching • Swimsuits • Firewood should be purchased in the park
